SwaRas is a spiritual initiative founded by Swarupa Daamodar Das, a world renowned bhajan and kirtan singer in ISKCON and Breejraj Sharrma, a Dubai based entrepreneur.

The musical journey of Swarupa Daamodar Das began in 1992 under the compassionate guidance of his spiritual master. His passion for music has grown with him over the past 3 decades making him a world renowned singer in ISKCON. Coming from a completely non-musical background he is a classic example of sheer mercy of Guru and Krishna. His deep love for music was compassionately dovetailed in the service of the Lord by his spiritual master HH Radhanath Swami Maharaj in the year 1992.

Under his Guru’s guidance he learnt that it is only due to the elements of genuine humility and devotion, can one sincerely cry out the Holy Names of the Lord. This process of bhakti has been most successfully preached by His Divine Grace Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada who is the foremost Acharya in the line of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu who literally began the bhakti movement all over the world in 1966. Following the footsteps of Sri Krishna Caitanya Mahaprabhu, Srila Prabhupada revived the Hare Krishna Movement all over the world simply by spreading the glorious chanting of the Hare Krishna Mahamantra.
